Anticipation is building for the upcoming Cherub season with a home national championship for the NSW fleet. Many boats have been undergoing restoration in readiness for the season ahead. The state championships will be hotly contested with expectations of a fleet of around 30+ to compete in the 4 rounds to be completed this year. Stay tuned for more updates throughout the season!

Accommodation
If you need accommodation for the series, there are a few options available. We are liaising with local sailing clubs to try and offer low-cost accommodation with a bus pick-up and drop-off. We can also assist to find billets for those who would like to stay with a Sydney-based family. Please email [email protected] for more information if you are interested in these options.

NSW State Championships
This season’s states regattas have been confirmed. The four rounds of the 2016-17 NSW Cherub State Championship have been locked in for an action-packed skiff-sailing summer.
- Round 1 – October 29-30 – Belmont 16ft Sailing Club
- Round 2 – November 26-27 – Drummoyne Sailing Club
- Round 3 – February 4 – Lane Cove 12ft Sailing Skiff Club; February 5 – Vaucluse Amateur Sailing Club
- Round 4 – March 4-5 – Teralba Amateur Sailing Club
