Our interviews with competitors and coaches continued yesterday with a number of great chats. We spoke to SA coach Stuart Templeton, the SA team of Issy Royle and Zoe Hinks on Vela, and the Tasmanian team of Will Cooper and Hugo Allison, who are leading into the half way mark.

Impulse – Tasmania

We spoke to Tasmanians Will Cooper and Hugo Allison, who are leading the regatta at the halfway mark. They have proven to be a very consistent boat, staying inside the top 10 in all races so far.

Vela – South Australia

We caught up with the South Australian pair of Issy Royle and Zoe Hinks, who have only been sailing together for this year. Issy said she was really enjoying teaching new skills to Zoe and they were hoping for a top 20 finish.

Stuart Templeton – South Australian Team Coach

We had the chance to speak to South Australian team coach Stuart Templeton about how the SA Team was faring in their home state nationals. He spoke about how great it was to see a growing fleet and what the coaching program had been like.
