The inaugural Bootleg Slider Project was a collection of kiters from all over Australia, coming together for one purpose and one purpose only, to have a good time in a different part of the world to what they’re used to.
It was also about taking the competition element out of a higher level of riding, meaning the features were there, the conditions were there, but the comp format wasn’t. There were no limitations to the number of hits, no time constraints other than making it to the pub before the kitchen closed, and no prizes for first, last or anywhere in-between.
This is a little edit of how the weekend went. Stay tuned for notification of the 2018 Bootleg Slider Project, sure to be bigger and better than last year.
