2018 International 14 World Championships – Day 5
Lots of worried faces in the boat park – it looked windy, very windy.. But PRO, Del Olsen, assured the International 14 skiff fleet that everything would settle down. Local knowledge proved right and a decisive fourth race for the Germans.
Georg Borkenstein and ‘Big’ Eike Dietrich lead from start to finish with the Brits and Australians, Daniel Holman/ Alex Knight and Lindsay Irwin/ Andrew Perry respectively taking second and third.
Lay Day tomorrow so plenty of boat repairs, resting weary muscles (and some heads). Race Five starts Wednesday with plenty more action on San Francisco Bay.
